How is Republic Day celebrated in India?

Republic Day is usually celebrated with patriotic activities across colleges universities and governmental institutions. India got independence on the 15th of August 1947, Constitution and its values came into force on 26th January 1950. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first president of India. Republic Day is celebrated around the world as a three-day celebration, which coincides with the Beating Retreat ceremony from 26th to 29th January. This day is a national holiday. In School, college Hoist the flag, balloon, and some programs are organized on that day. People remember those who sacrificed their lives for our country. On this day At Red Fort, hoisting of the national flag and assembling of individuals is noticed. This day gives the message of Unity and independency to all. India shows its rich Contribution and hard barrier abilities. The Indian powers, including the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force participate in the procession. VIPs from various countries are welcome as the main visitors. We remember our national heroes and respect the freedom fighters who did so much struggle for our country, especially Dr. B.R.
